This is a pretty lazy article. Its basically a heavily flawed two year old article republished without any effort made to update it or deal with its many issues.
All the conclusions in the article require a huge caveat warning, that despite its length in only applies if you want to play CK2 the same way the author prefers, because he makes zero effort to address the many different legitimate playstyles that CK2 supports. So if you don't find an intrigue heavy playstyle, discard this entire article as invalid, apart from the comment at the end about the vanilla game being very Euro centric.
Really weak article, takes quite a lack of regard for your readers to republish it two years later without bothering to put any effort in, especially given the authors claim to have played several hundred hours of CK2.
